Question 1

How long does a custom closet take?

Accepted Answer

Custom closets are produced in 5–6 weeks. After the build is complete we need about one additional week to schedule installation, so plan on roughly 6–7 weeks from approved design to a finished closet.

Question 2

How much does a walk-in closet cost?

Accepted Answer

Most walk-in closets land between $3,400 and $9,800 installed, depending on size, drawer count and finish. Reach-in closets typically run $1,900–$3,400. Bespoke dressing rooms with islands, veneer and glass start around $9,800. You receive a fixed itemized quote before anything is ordered.

Question 3

Why are you less expensive than the national closet brands?

Accepted Answer

We are an authorized dealer for Closet Parts, one of the country's largest closet manufacturers, so we buy components direct at wholesale volume and install with our own local crew. No franchise fee, no commissioned salespeople, no third-party labor markup. Same 3/4" panel stock, same soft-close hardware, 30–45% less.

Question 4

Is the design really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Measure, 3D rendering, capacity report, finish selection and an itemized quote are all free, with unlimited revisions and no deposit required to see options.

Question 5

What is the mobile showroom?

Accepted Answer

It is our in-house sample library on wheels. A designer brings full-size finish panels, door and drawer fronts, hardware, accessories and LED lighting to your home so you can choose materials in your own lighting, then measures and sketches the layout on site.

Question 6

Do you install, or do I need a contractor?

Accepted Answer

We install. Our own crew handles delivery, leveling, mounting, adjustment and cleanup. Most closets are finished in 1–3 days.

Question 7

What materials do you use?

Accepted Answer

Thermally fused laminate over industrial-grade substrate with 1mm matched PVC edge banding on all exposed edges — 3/4" standard, 1" available. Wood veneer, glass and mirrored fronts are available on Bespoke projects.

Question 8

Do closet panels sit on the floor?

Accepted Answer

Our standard construction is wall-hung (floating), which keeps floors clear for vacuuming and makes the space feel larger. Floor-based construction is available where the wall structure requires it.

Question 9

What is the warranty?

Accepted Answer

Lifetime warranty on components and one year on workmanship. Because we are local, service calls do not go through a national call center.

Question 10

Do you handle pantries, garages and offices too?

Accepted Answer

Yes — pantries, garage storage, laundry rooms, mudrooms, linen and utility closets, home offices and built-in bookcases, all in the same finish families as our closets. We also build wardrobes, entertainment centers, home libraries, dry and wet bars, and wall beds (Murphy beds).

Question 11

Where do your closet components come from?

Accepted Answer

We are an authorized dealer for Closet Parts, one of the country's largest custom closet manufacturers and distributors. Buying components direct at wholesale volume is a big part of why our installed pricing runs 30–45% below the national closet brands — you get the same industry-standard materials without the franchise markup.

Question 12

What shelf and panel depths can I get?

Accepted Answer

Standard depths are 12", 14", 16", 18", 22" and 24", plus custom depths where a space requires it. Deeper panels are common for pantries, garages and folding zones; 12"–14" is typical for hanging and shoe walls.

Question 13

What is the difference between fully drilled and selectively drilled panels?

Accepted Answer

Fully drilled vertical panels give you a continuous line of holes so shelves, rods and accessories can be moved later. Selectively drilled panels are bored only where the design calls for them, which looks cleaner. Your designer will recommend one based on how much you expect the closet to change over time.

Question 14

Can the closet be wall-mounted instead of sitting on the floor?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer wall-mount (floating), suspended and floor-mount vertical panel construction. Wall-mount is our default — clear floors, easier cleaning and a larger-feeling room — with baseboard notching so panels sit tight to the wall.

Question 15

What accessories can be added?

Accepted Answer

Belt, tie and scarf racks, valet rods, jewelry trays, pull-out pants racks, ironing boards, mirrors, hampers, pull-out drawers and shelves, shoe fences, baskets, hooks, custom handles and knobs, hang rods and radius corner shelves. Every accessory is quoted as a line item so you control the total.

Question 16

How does closet lighting work?

Accepted Answer

We use flexible LED strip lighting planned into the design before production, so wiring is hidden behind panels and terminated cleanly behind drawers or fixed panels. It is quoted by run length and wattage, and we confirm outlet locations during the measure.

Question 17

Do you also supply countertops, moulding and hardware?

Accepted Answer

Yes — matching countertops for closet islands, laundry rooms, pantries and offices, decorative closet moulding, and all hardware (hinges, soft-close slides, pulls, brackets and fasteners) come from the same program, so finishes match across the whole project.

Question 18

When do I pay?

Accepted Answer

A deposit confirms your build slot and reserves production time. The balance is not due until installation is complete and you have walked the project with our installer.

Question 19

Where are you located?

Accepted Answer

Our office and showroom are at 2051 S. Broad St, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Showroom hours are Monday–Friday 9–6, Saturday 10–4, and Sundays by appointment.
